Welcome to Deathrow / Eastsidaz

Music label Death Row Records has, since its inception in the early
'90s, become synonymous with American hip-hop culture. Formed by ex-bodyguard
Suge Knight, the label once boasted an impressive roster of hip hop
talent including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and the late Tupac Shakur, all
of whom released seminal rap albums under the Death Row moniker. However,
several highly-publicised setbacks including the death of Tupac, artists'
in-fighting, and dwindling album sales, have turned the label into
a shadow of its former self.
WELCOME TO DEATH ROW is a fascinating, well-researched documentary which explores the history of this intriguing and incredibly significant company.
